was most recently trading 88 points (0.3%) lower, as shares of Verizon

and McDonald’s
MCD,
are contributing to the blue-chip gauge’s intraday decline. Verizon’s shares are down $0.54 (1.6%) while those of McDonald’s are down $4.10 (1.5%), combining for an approximately 31-point drag on the Dow. Other components contributing significantly to the decline include Procter & Gamble
