LiveOne Posts Premium Subscriber Growth in September

LiveOne saw premium subscribers grow in September, aided in part by business-to-business partnerships with companies including Tesla and Verizon.

The digital media company disclosed that it added 51,000 new premium members with average revenue per use over $3 a month. Its year-over-year new premium memberships increased by about 700,000, up 40%.

New Tesla premium members increased by 357,000 over the last six months, LiveOne said. The company’s offering is part of the electric vehicle company’s native connectivity app in nearly every new car sold, LiveOne said.

“Our B-to-B partnerships… coupled with our consumer-friendly pricing model, has proven to be a winning combination,” said Chief Executive Robert Ellin. He added that LiveOne is expanding its sales and partnership team and expects to add more companies to its roster this year following the success of current partnerships.
