Inter Pipeline named Paul Hawksworth as its next chief executive officer, effective Nov. 1.
The Canadian petroleum transportation and natural gas liquids processing company, which is owned by Brookfield Infrastructure, said that Hawksworth, currently the company’s finance chief, would succeed Brian Baker as CEO. The company said Baker would continue as board chair as current chair Deborah Close steps into an independent board member role.
The company said Doug Wright would become financial chief, succeeding Hawksworth. Wright previously served as vice president at Brookfield Infrastructure.
Hawksworth initially joined Inter Pipeline in October 2021 from Brookfield, where he was senior vice president.
