(Reuters) – Hedge fund Two Sigma Investments has told clients of $620 million in unexpected gains and losses which resulted from unauthorized adjustments, the Wall Street Journal reported.
The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is examining the matter, Sunday’s WSJ report added, citing sources.
The SEC declined to comment on the WSJ report when approached by Reuters. Two Sigma did not immediately respond to requests for a response.
